This is a beautiful garden in the Bronx. As with the Untermyer Gardens we could have spent vastly more time here. We missed the closing time for the conservatory, alas. Please observe through the glass of the conservatory a magnificent climbing Plumbago. For those of you who have read "Old Herbaceous" by Reginald Arkell, which I urge you to do, the blue vine should have special meaning, although the one in Old H is a blue morning glory.
